Plate Collection for November 8

Our monthly plate collection theme for November is Climate Justice, and this week’s collection will benefit UU Mass Action.

Climate Justice is one of UU Mass Action’s key campaigns, along with Immigration Justice, Economic & Housing Justice, Indigenous Justice, and Decarceration & Ending Solitary.  The organization’s overall mission is to organize and mobilize Massachusetts UUs to confront oppression.

UUMA is committed to environmental justice and the abolition of dirty fuels, and to the just transition to 100% renewable clean energy.  In conjunction with partners at Mass Power Forward, they are currently organizing to push legislators to pass an energy bill that cuts corporate profits, funds energy efficiency, and promotes affordable and renewable energy.  They are trying to Save Mass Save!

Your donation will help UU Mass Action to be able to continue the important advocacy work it started 20 years ago.
