Plate Collection for May 3

This week's plate collection will benefit UU Mass Action. UUMA is our local UU partner for social action policy and advocacy. The organization's pathways to justice are selected by identifying the priorities in which Massachusetts UU congregations are engaged, taking part in their coalition partners’ shared priorities, assessing legislative momentum, and identifying who are the most vulnerable people in our state.

UUMA's campaigns involve climate and environmental justice, decarceration, indigenous justice, economic and housing justice, immigrant justice, and other legislative areas such as Medical Aid in Dying. All of their funding comes from individual donations, congregations, and grants, so our donation is important for their ongoing work.
