On Saturday, May 2, we are once again invited to Camp Starfish to participate in a service day. Camp Starfish is a summer overnight camp for special needs children that UU Wellesley Hills has been supporting for many years. It is a haven for children who have difficult behaviors and are not welcome at any other camp. The camp is on a beautiful lake in Rindge, New Hampshire, and operates on a shoestring budget. They are tremendously grateful for anything we can do for them. We will spend 4 hours on May 2 helping the camp get ready for the summer. We will meet at the camp at 9:30AM and leave after lunch. There will be building projects, clean-up efforts, and, as always, painting. If you are interested in participating, please email Karen Mariscal at karenmariscal1@gmail.com. Carpooling is available.
